Offset service tower

An offset apartment and work tower rises above intact older New York frontage. Pale ribs, a recessed service spine and restrained amethyst or orchid accents distinguish its upper volume. A long inhabited cantilever ends in a glazed lookout; the lobby still meets a working street. The developer controls the building's visitor reader and logs. A failed match locks a resident out while the old shops below keep trading. See Place lens: New York, The developer and Sensors.
