The weather of a night

Rain matters: robot lanes close, cheap courier drones stay down while sealed ones keep flying, cameras blur, the low streets flood. Snow, heat and old batteries stop other machines. Game nights and concerts give crowds and cover. Heat waves bring everyone onto the stoops and short every temper. Power cuts kill the cameras and the cash registers at once.
