Drones

Drones. Cheap couriers that die mid-route when the battery sags and get shot down by kids for fun; police drones that launch from roofs and cars within a minute or two of a sensor firing. A drone doing a slow loop is recording; a fast straight one is chasing. Heavy rain and wind ground the cheap couriers; sealed police and company drones keep flying, and cold drains every battery faster.
